my activity

The long awaited day, 26th January, finally came. All the necessary arrangements were accomplished. It was 6.30 p.m. And yet all the chairs in Bro. BARCO HALL were vacant. My hope was sinking and pulse, racing ever speedily. Slowly people started creeping in and the hall was full just within a blink of an eye. Yes! It was a great event for the people of St. Elizabeth Neighbourhood, (St. Xavier’s Parish, Camp). This was the first get-together of this year. The event began with the invocation to the Lord. The ice-breaking games captured all the people with enthusiasm and eagerness. Fr. A. S. Louis, the director for small Christian communities, was the chief invitee. He said that in today’s world each one of us has to take medication hence He put his message across to people in the form of three tablets, namely do good, speak good and be good news to others. The event was beautified by the presence of Fr. Dennis S.J, the Parish priest, Fr. Raymond S.J. and Bro. Arun. The programme soon got into full swing. Two little girls put on a dance. The housie games bestowed many gifts to some of them. The get together was concluded with a fellowship meal. Parmar Navneet S.J.

DARKNESS OF ETERNITY

DARKNESS OF ETERNITY

I will be dissolved in the darkness of eternity

My soul is not left with serenity

Memories hover like inevitable ghost

Streams of tears run, where I am lost. Battered, broken, now I am less loved

Paralyzed, life on terrible curve

Long to see your face before I die

Sure then, buried under peacefully I lie.
